CEN
Center for Excellence in Nonprofits

About

  • As a member of CEN, your organization (entire staff and board) will get connected to a network of nonprofit leaders who are on the same learning journey that you are. You'll receive deep discounts - usually 50% or more - on year-round workshops and will gain access to partnership opportunities and exclusive no-cost services. In response to COVID-19, CEN shifted programs online, offering virtual training opportunities that merge fundamental best practices with crisis management resources and opportunities for peer-to-peer connections and support.

Additional Discounts for the All Stars Helping Kids Grantees

  • Access to Boot Camp Discounts | Reduced Tuition of $400/Participant
    • CEN's Nonprofit Leadership Certificate Boot Camp is an opportunity to learn from industry experts, explore the nonprofit business model, develop/augment management skills, and gain a robust toolkit of resources to excel and sustain yourself in a nonprofit career. Additionally, CEN embedded timely content (coping resources, fundraising strategies, etc.) to address current and evolving challenges. Full cost to attend the boot camp is $700, which is reduced to $525 for all CEN members. Through this partnership, you - as All Stars Helping Kids grantees - not only get the member discount, but also an additional $125 off each boot camp registration.

  • Access to Workshop Discounts | 4 Sessions for the Price of 2
    • In order to make our sessions more accessible and to encourage ongoing participation, for every two paid workshop registrations that All Stars Helping Kids grantee organizations sign up for (already discounted by 50% through their CEN membership) their organization is also welcome to register for an additional two sessions at no extra charge. Organizations could use this for any combination (i.e. send one person to four different sessions or a team of four to one workshop). A full list of workshops can be found at the link below.
