About

Ronald Mandel Lott is an American former professional football player who was a cornerback, free safety, and strong safety in the National Football League for 14 seasons during the 1980s and 1990s. Lott played college football for the University of Southern California, and was honored as a consensus All-American. All Stars Helping Kids was created in 1989, when NFL Hall of Famer Ronnie Lott gathered his friends for a dinner to benefit the local community. Astounded that he had raised $100,000 in one night, Ronnie and his wife, Karen, invested the money in several nonprofits fighting poverty in the South Bay.
